Ghanaian songstress, Jackline Acheampong, known professionally as Gyakie, has released an astounding visuals to her latest single, “Something”.
From couch scenes to the party on the train and the imposing bedroom scene, the music video is strikingly pleasing to the eye as they align with the beautiful tune of the song.
Gyakie sings suggestively in her trademark visceral vocal tone, telling her lover in no uncertain terms exactly how they make her feel and what she’s prepared to do to have them.
The ‘Flip The Music’ signee, serves this new record as her second installment for the year 2022, following her smash hit single, “Forever” a classic and international mid-tempo song from her debut extended playlist, “Seed”, which brought her to the limelight.
The song eventually topped charts on Billboard’s Top Triller Global and Shazam’s Top 200 charts of which she later remixed with Nigeria’s Omah Lay.
“Something” is a perfect Afrobeats fusion that shows the songstress’s highest echelons of music genre and potential as she delivers a tune beautifully made to thrill the minds of music listeners.
The song happens to be part of her forthcoming studio album.
