Award-winning Ghanaian female vocalist, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, professionally known as MzVee is back on the music scene with her 5th studio album; 10 Thirty.
Having cemented her name as one of the best female vocalist in the country, MzVee revealed that the title of the album, ‘10 Thirty’, connotes her 10-year span in the music industry and her 30th birthday.
“The album means ten years in the industry at the age of 30. My 10 years stay in the music industry had gone through numerous challenges, especially coming from a very strict home.
That switch from being a church girl to being a musician doing secular music was very difficult for me, and I had to take time off to rethink my career and bounce back very strongly.
It has been such a ride and a rollercoaster in my 10 years spell in the industry. I have met lots of good people and bad people pretending to be good people,” she said at the private listening session for her “10 Thirty” album.
The album which holds 10 solid songs features rapper Kwesi Arthur, Bhim Nation’s Stonebwoy, Kofi Kinaata, Tanzania’s Harmonize, DJ Henry X, with Nigeria’s Yemi Alade, Bella Shmurda, and Tiwa Savage.
