In a festive moment in Accra’s biggest street art fiesta, this year’s ChaleWote Festival saw famed Ghanaian content creators turning up to the streets of Jamestown as they shared a platform with fans, industry people and other creatives who came to appreciate art together at the annual street art event that seeks to promote art, music, design and performance out into the streets.
The Abonten with the Creators which took place on the Sempe Streets of Accra’s most historic communities and targets saw a section of Ghana’s content creators and skit makers connecting with the exhilarating audience at the ChaleWote festival.
The likes of popular skit makers and most sought after content creators like the sensational Pastor with Dreadlocks; affectionately called ‘Bombo’, the talented MadeInGhana, the neighborhood’s self employed crooked officer; Ashiboto GH, the Bonet guy Teddy, Ga Mantse’s David Entertainer, Fante GH, Holics GH and the likes all joined forces with Ghana-based and international creatives.
The event hosted by one of the country’s finest MC’s; El Baby brought the life of the party as he thrilled the enlivened crowd in a mood of artistic vibes and music.
The event also saw popular dancer, Incredible Zigi quivering the event ground with his awe inspiring dance moves as he teamed up with members of his Afrozig dance movement.
This was certainly one of the best times at this year’s ChaleWote festival as Ghanaians and people from the diaspora absorbed vibes from the street art event.
